- In the English version of the book, there is a line that Dennis says that is considered an adult joke-- When Dennis tried to talk to two schoolmates of his, he shouted out several internet acroymns: ROFL, FTW and YOLO. FTW means "F*ck The World", which is considered a form of swearing.
- Throughout the book alone, there are a list of references and illusions to popular brands/companies.
- During Dennis' introduction, a billboard in the background showed "Candy Factory's Comic Demostration", an event the illustrators of Candy Series had held during a period of time.
- When Emilia introduces several internet search engines, two of them are plays of names of several well-known search engines: Mikipedia and Baido are plays of America's Wikipedia and China's Baidu respectively.
