Irwin is one of the supporting characters of Candy Series. He is a veterinarian in training and the older brother of Steven. Together with his brother, they opened an animal shelter named 'Helping Paws Animal Shelter'.

He made his debut in Hamlet's Keeper: Responsibility.

History

Irwin and Julian were classmates before. When they were on a trip, the both of them were quite friendly to each other. But when Irwin shown Julian the frog that he got, Julian screamed and hid behind a tree. Irwin innocently asked that was he not the brave Julian. Julian then felt embarrassed and reported this to the teacher. But, since it was a small incident which was not done on purpose, the teacher dismissed it which left Julian feeling more embarrassed and unfair.

Physical Appearance

Irwin is a tall and well built young man. He has green eyes and part of his hair is green while the other parts are black. He also wears glasses. Like the other characters, he does not consistently wear the same clothing.

Personality

Irwin is a dependable individual, as he took care of Candy JEM and their friends while they were on a trip to Langkawi Island. Irwin is also shown to be kind as he likes treating sick and injured animals although he is only a veterinarian in training.

Parents

Irwin and Steve's parents were mentioned in Hamlet's Keeper: Responsibility. Their father is a veterinarian and their mother is an animal researcher.

Steve

Steve is Irwin's younger brother who helps him run 'Helping Paws Animal Shelter'.

Julian

Irwin and Julian met during their years in Primary School along with Sean. During their childhood, Irwin acted as a "motivation" for Julian's dream of becoming a lawyer, or rather, Irwin was the one who kicked started Julian's intention of becoming a lawyer. When the two were at their school's camping trip, Irwin had brought a wild frog to Julian, wishing that the latter would like the frog. Instead, Julian grew fear upon seeing the amphibian and ran away from it, resulted in him being mocked and insulted by his classmates and even his teacher.

Whereas, Irwin and Julian still remained as friends despite the incident. The two had been keeping in contact with one another until present. Irwin sees Julian as a close ally and a brotherly figure, often finds comfort during his visits and was able to tolerate Julian's eccentricities and sometimes childish behaviour.

He met Sofia, Corey and Charles when he accompanied Candy JEM, Sofia, Corey and Charles to Langkawi.
